A little sketch featuring sustained synth drones, field recordings, looped tornado warning sirens, and various other sounds.

An ambient/electronica sketch built around improv Xiosynth-ing, numerous field recordings, and various loops.
23rd - Dead Drone, a new Free MP3
It's a dead drone. I kind of want this sound to go on for another 20 or 30 minutes, or maybe an hour or two. For now, there's always "repeat".
22nd - May Thunderstorm Soundscape, a new Free MP3
"May Thunderstorm Soundscape" features multi-layered thunderstorm field recordings from my backyard in May 2008, along with an intentionally out-of-phase rhythmic backing.
21st - Inside Gates, a new Free MP3
"Inside Gates" is a sketch built around a field recording I did while waiting for food at Gates BBQ in Kansas City while visiting there in the summer of 2008.
20th - Drone Storm, a new Free MP3.
An ambient drone sketch I made with thunderstorm field recordings and a vaguely Indian backing beat. It features mid-tempo layered beats, bird song, thunder, numerous drones, hidden pulses, and the occasional sweep of rain.
19th - Under Treetops, a new Free MP3.
It features low pulses, fog, rain sweep, wind chimes, bird song, and air.

I recorded "How To Tour Death Row", provided additional audio detailing for both stories, did the mix, and provided the backing track "Perpetual Vision" from my album The Driver's Companion.

Remembering our friend Chuck Bird (November 11, 1957 - November 12, 2006) who died after a 30 year battle with diabetes in Nashville.
